Fly fishing's a common attraction for visitors to Horsefly Landing Resort. Fishers may simply walk down to the lake from one of the resort's five cabins. There are also campsites at Horsefly Landing Resort with full hookups, showers and washrooms.
Located in the Cariboo Mountains, secluded on a ten mile lake. Rainbow trout can be found in abundence in the lake. Enjoy wild life, bird watching, hiking and swimmming. One and two bedroom lakeside cottages with bathroom, full kichen, firepit and sundeck. Two hours from Williams Lake or 100 Mile House.
This resort rents eight cabins on Quesnel Lake. Fishing is popular here, and there are two fishing derbies, one in the third week in July, and a second in the third week of August. Hiking, swimming and canoeing are also common.
Located 36 km southeast of Horsefly and on the shores of Quesnel Lake, the Plato Island Resort attracts fishers after Rainbow, Lake Trout, Dolly Varden, Kokanee and Burbot. For those just wanting to relax there is a sandy beach within a five minute walk and the region has a variety of wildlife to view.
