    Kootenay National Park Visitor Centre
    This visitor centre offers information on Parks Canada, BC tourism and provides Chamber of Commerce information services. On-site exhibits feature the history and culture of the Ktunaxa. A Friends of Kootenay gift shop is available.

    The Palace Hotel
    This structure is worth visiting as it is an example of gold rush era architectural style in the area. Originally built in 1879 as a residence, it became the Palace Hotel after being sold by the original owners.

    Pioneer Cemetery
    Located at the north end of the village, the first burial in the graveyard occurred in 1861. The cemetery is dedicated to the memory of those who lead the way in settling the region.
