This resort overlooks Chilko Lake deep in the interior of BC. To get there by road requires at least a 65 km drive on a dirt road so many guests fly in directly from Vancouver to enjoy outdoor activities such as fishing, hiking and wildlife viewing. For many the salmon runs of spring and late summer are a natural draw. The rivers reflect the red tones of returning salmon as they complete their life cycle under the watchfull eyes of hungry bears.

A river runs through this guest ranch, offering visitors a chance to throw a fly line into the waters for trout. The surrounding countryside also provide a system of trails for horseback riders and hikers alike. The resort itself offers rooms either at the main lodge or in cabins with full kitchens.
