Homathko River-Tatlayoko Protected Area
Homathko River-Tatlayoko Protected Area covers over 17,000 hectares of diverse landscape. Highlights include the spectacular Waddington Canyon, aquamarine Tatlayoko Lake and extensive icefields. The area also protects various animal habitats, home to grizzly bears, bald eagles, trumpeter swans and moose. Recreational opportunities include fishing, wilderness camping and windsurfing.
